How to Choose an Aesthetic Clinic

Ten things people commonly check before sending an enquiry. Work through them in order, tick them off as you go, and take the list into your consultation.

The ten-point checklist

None of this is medical advice — it is a research sequence. What is suitable for you is a matter for a qualified professional who has assessed you in person.

01Identify the treatment you are researching

Start from the treatment name a clinic uses, not a marketing label. Different clinics group treatments differently.

02Research the practitioner

Look for who would perform the treatment and their stated title. Names on a listing come from the clinic or public sources.

03Check relevant credentials

Confirm registration with the health authority in the country where the clinic operates. GlowTrip does not verify this for you.

04Understand the clinic

How long has it operated, is it a single site or a network, and which practitioners work there.

05Compare treatment information

Ask each clinic what product or device they use, and how many sessions they would generally discuss.

06Review available information

Read reviews for patterns rather than totals. Ratings on GlowTrip come from Google reviewers.

07Ask about risks and aftercare

What are the potential risks, what follow-up is available, and who you contact if you have concerns.

08Understand pricing

Ask what is included, what is charged separately, and whether the quote can change after an in-person assessment.

09Ask questions before paying

Deposit terms, refund policy and what happens if plans change should be clear in writing first.

10Consider follow-up and support

Especially if you are travelling — what happens after you return home, and what documentation you receive.
